Type of Travel Insurance

Hi All,

I have seen it suggested highly on both here and Trip Advisor to purchase travel insurance. Any suggestions on which company to use? I remember purchasing a few years back on both my trips to S.Africa and it costing under $50, but for the life of me I can't find the company information.

Thank you!

I have always had good luck with Travel Guard.

If you have any kind of medical issues, or have had some in recent years, even fairly harmlesss ones, take the fine print to somebody with better eyes than yours and scrutinize the language endlessly, especially the part about pre-existing conditions - that can turn out to be grounds for refusal of compensation for sometimes ludicrous reasons.

Shirley that's the one I used to use, I believe...thanks!

WallyK, good point. I'm ok thank God but someone else might need to know that.
