Two Way Radios

Any suggestions on using two way radios in Italy? I thought this would come in handy when my wife gets lost. They worked great in Disneyland when we went different directions one day. Will they work in Italy? Any suggestions?

If you bring them from the US, they are illegal because they interfere with the emergency services frequencies in Europe - NOT a good idea!

absolutley not - totally illegal

If you are talking about U.S. radios, they are illegal to use in Europe. They will work, but their frequencies interfere with their emergency bands, I have been told.

:-(

Cell phones are what have saved us when we go in different directions.

You could buy Europe-based radios when you get there (but of course I don't know where!). Cell phones should suffice, that's what we rely on when going separate ways.
