TVG to CDG -- how do you get there?
How does one get from the TGV Paris Austerlitz station to CDG airport? And, if the train arrives at 1:25 pm and the flight leaves at 5:50 pm, is there plenty of time?
As you can see, I don't know much about the logistics of traveling in France. I appreciate your help.

You should have plenty of time, either using RER train or the airport bus. However both of these involve changes and stairs. Depending on how many you are, and how many cases you have, it may be easier and not much more expensive to take a taxi.
For years when we came to France we used to hump bags up and down stairs, onto trains, etc. and finally decided that the cost of the taxi was well worth it. Especially after I once got on the wrong line of the RER and ended up in the countryside, with yet more stairs to go down and up to get back on the right line.

Take the RER C line to St-Michel Notre-Dame. Transfer to the RER B line and take it to CDG 2 TGV (the second and last RER station). Be aware that the RER B line divides northeast of Paris so be sure to get on a train that is going to CDG. Keep your ticket to exit the system at CDG. Travel time: Just under an hour. Fare: 8.20€.

The Air France bus departs from Gare de Lyon, not Gare d'Austerlitz. You would have to cross the Seine to get to that station. (See the map link I gave you in my previous post.) The bus is also more expensive than the RER.

One other comment - there is in fact no TGV to Austerlitz. This station handles trains from the south - usually Dordogne/Toulouse and further south, where there are as yet no TGV trains. This is just the regular train service.
