Tuscany Wine Tour & Winery Recommendations with Kids

Hi - please recommend a wine tour in Tuscany! We are two adults and two kids (ages 10 and 13). Our preference is a private tour. Recommendations for specific wineries are welcome as well. Thank you!

I enjoyed a nice winery called La Lastra right outside Siena

We had a nice tour of Castello di Verrazzano with our son when he was 14. verrazzano.com
One of my favourites is Castello di Ama. castellodiama.com
Delicous wines, they also have a very good restaurant on site and the owners love modern art so each year invite an artist to come and create something on property, so as well as touring the wine you can tour the art installations.

I can recommend a guide who will arrange a wine tour for you: Laura MacDonald of Wine Club Italy and Tours, she has a Facebook page or you can contact her at wineclubitaly.com
She is originally from the US but speaks fluent Italian, has lived in Florence for years, very personable and she's a sommelier as well.

Another vote for Castello di Ama. Wonderful wines. We also visited Antinori not too far from Florence. The architecture is striking and the restaurant on site is wonderful. We had a great tour there.
