Tuscany wine tour

Six of us will be staying in Florence the end of November. We would like to take a day tour of some wineries in Tuscany with a driver. Can anyone recommend a company?

We will also be in Firenza 11/17-28; www.accidentaltourist.com
has gotten great reviews. It is a one- winery destination, but it sounds like a very authentic experience. We've booked them for a cooking class. They may also have recommendations for you. See you there!

Icthecat...Thank you for the info! We can't wait!

I've seen quite a few recommendations for Luca from hillsandroads.com on this forum.

Thank you absolutkz. I have been trying to find hillsandroads.com and have been having no luck. Have you tried it?

Rugman, I'm not sure why you're having trouble finding the hillsandroads website, but you can email Luca at [email protected]. I used him in Sept on three different days and was very happy with the tours. He can set up wine tastings/tours for you and include hilltowns as well if you like.

If you know what you want, as I did, he will do whatever you specify. If you're not sure where to go, he can suggest itineraries for you and make all the arrangements. I did a winetasting along with hilltowns and Sant'Antimo Abbey. The winetasting/tour was free. Hope you have a great trip!

We just returned this week from our honeymoon. We had an amazing day tour of the Chianti region with Fabio from Country Tours.

Rugman- I hadn't actually tried to locate hillsandroads, not going to Tuscany until next fall. You'll have to let us know who yuo used and about your trip when you get back.
