Tuscany travel
 

Is it possible to find lodging as one travels by car around Tuscany? Or, will I need to reserve in advance?

Ruth, it's largely dependent on WHEN you go. So when are you going?

I will be leaving Venice April 26th.

We're going to be doing this in Tuscany too, for a few nights, just finding lodging as we go, to allow for more flexibility. <BR><BR>I'd certainly think that it's not a matter of not being able to find any lodging, but more a matter of not being able to find the specific type/price of lodging you might prefer. I'm sure you'd always be able to find a roof over your head at some price, especially if you arrive in a town earlier in the day.

I have been reading more msgs in this forum and found out that the last week of April is a holiday week. Does anyone know anything about that
