Tuscany hotel needed

I am looking for a hotel in the Tuscany area around Greve. It is hard to find a nice hotel for $200 in April. Most of the nice hotels cost $300 and up. I want a relaxing place overlooking vineyards and olive trees. Please help.

Try Podere Torre. While not a hotel (more a B&B), it fits your desires. Beautiful view and very relaxing.

Try Relais Fattoria Vignale in Radda, just outside Greve. It fits your description perfectly. We paid 240E per room in July. I'm wondering if rooms in early spring might be a bit cheaper. It's a lovely place with fine service and gorgeous views. Also easily accessible to Greve, Castellini, Siena, San Gimignano, Florence.

How lond will you be staying??
A week or longer...try
Italy Farm Holidays......www.italyfarmholidays.com
We stayed at Molina Le Gualchiere, it's in Loro Ciuffenna...a beautiful little village.
It's a great site to check out...a variety of accommodations are offered.

Hotel Belvedere di San Leonino in Castellina meets your criteria and is less than half your budget.

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, vineyards surround the property and the people who run it are very pleasant and helpful.

Take a look here: http://www.tuscany.net/leonino/pages/profile.htm

We loved the Residence San Sano, nearest to Gaolie (SP?). It was the best overall during a 3 week trip. This was 4 years ago so can't say what their current prices are. You can check them out on www.chiantinet.it.

Buon viaggio!

Another newbie who seems to have not been able to find his or her way back here.

Bringing this message back up "to the top" in case dtp is still looking for this and the one other thread started, back five days ago...
