How old are the teenagers? Both properties are probably better suited to adults.

cbs5, Amorosa is near Siena. I'd put it in the same category as the other two, perhaps more for adults. If your kids are happy as long as there's a pool, then OK, but know that the pool at Amorosa is not heated. That may also be the case with the other two, but I don't have direct knowledge.

Thanks for replying. Girls, 20 and 16. Perhaps one is closer to Cortona for an afternoon out?

Il Falconiere is 9 kms. to Cortona, and V.d. Piazzano is 11 kms. to Cortona. Only about a mile difference but in opposite directions I think.

Well, you don't have to spend that much. I don't know if you've perused the Karen Brown website, but here's her list of places to stay in Tuscany showing each property's distance from Cortona.

Thanks, so many to choose from? Any recommendations? Pool is required, easy access with car? Good food a must!
Grazie!
