Tuscany GTG in September
 

I can see there are going to be lots of Fodorites in Tuscany this Fall.

We're flying into Rome on the 17th and driving directly to Orvieto, staying at Locanda Rosati.

Late afternoon of the 18th driving to an apartment in Montepulciano and spending a week wondering around Tuscany, with 2 days/1 night (21st & 22nd) in Florence. We're going to play it by ear that week, relaxing, short day trips, and wine tasting.

Spending the last 2 days (25-26th) meandering towards Rome, staying at the Medici Holiday Inn, checking in early on the 26th and having dinner in Rome, and flying back to Newark on the 27th.

Anybody else going to be in that general area and would like to plan a GetToGether (GTG)?

I'm thinking of having lunch at I Sette Consoli in Orvieto Saturday the 18th prior to heading up to Montepulciano in the late afternoon. I know it is one of ira's favorites. ((a)) That's a possibility, or an afternoon tea (glass of wine) in a Montepulciano cafe, lunch, or dinner.
