Tuscany-day trips from Florence/Sienna

Trying to plan a trip. What are options if we stay in "town," but want to do day trips to - say - vineyards and/or little charming villages? I'm looking to NOT RENT A CAR, but to be mobile. To venture into the countryside a day or 2 or 3. Return to "town" later in day, perhaps. Brainstorming. Thanks. I always get such good advice on these boards.

There's a very inexpensive day trip to the Chianti countryside that gets rave reviews at TripAdvisor.

See your other post---why 2 on the same topic?

Sorry. I was looking for day trip TOURS, not so much private drivers with this question. Didn't intend it to be the same posting.

You can take the bus from Florence to Sienna. As for venturing further into the other villages...do a search and see what you can find. I loved having a car and driving all over Tuscany.
