Do I need UK re-entry visa after 5 days in Paris?

Planning two weeks vacation, one week in London, 5 days in Paris, 2 more days in London.
Arriving in London by air, visiting Paris by train, returning in London by train, and flying back home.
Do I need to apply for two UK visas or there is an option for re-entry in a short period?

It depends entirely on your citizenship. For many of us including US passport holders, no visa is required so you'd have no issue whatever. So that's the missing information.

US permanent resident. UK and Schengen visa required for entry.

It depends on the terms of your entry clearance - from experience with student visas it's unusual for short period visas (ie 6 months or fewer) to be multi-entry.

If you haven't arranged your flights already, I would fly "Open Jaw" into London and home from Paris. It saves all that backtracking, gets rid of the visa issue and probably won't cost you any more when you factor in the Paris\London travel

Well, whole group booked round-trip to London with BA already. Only one person need a visa, others are US passport holders. We thought that person will travel with us entering UK, going to France, and back to UK with one UK and Schengen visa. That seem is not the case, he can be denied UK reentry.
Thank you

You will need a double- or multiple-entry UK general visit visa. Double-entry visa will have the number 2 under 'Entry Terms' and multiple-entry has MULT.
Visit visas are normally issued for multiple-entry, but it's as well to emphasise that you need it by enclosing your planned itinerary.
