Tuscany Day Trip Ideas for Two Females in their Early 20's

Hi guys,

my best friend and I (females in our early twenties travelling on our own) are going on a euro trip and would like to see what tuscany is all about. We will be in florence as a base but are interested in doing some wine tours.. does anyone have any suggestions that are fitting to our demographic? We will be there first week of July and budget is moderate.

Thank you

Hi jelsbells,

i think that if you go to the "attractions/activities" part of Trip advisor for Florence you will find a wide selection of tours, one or other of which may interest you.

here's the link:

good luck!

Take a bus to Sienna for the day or to Lucca or both. The train is good for Lucca though.

How about this one? it gets good reviews on TA:

http://tuscany-biketours.com/

it's not specifically geared towards the young, but being quite physical should attract a younger crowd.
