Tuscany cooking lesson

Does anyone know of a place near Lucca to go for a one time cooking lesson?

I read of classes given in Florence that are 270 euros per class, wow, I feel that is like robbing people,
In a different scale today , here in the US, I saw a little jar with a few laurel leaves to be used in Italian cooking for some 7+ dollars, I could not believe my eyes because laurel leaves are very cheap all over the world including here, they grow in a tree ,....well may be this is some cheap philosophy for a Sunday morning but for me it relates to the classes in Firenze for that astronomical amount....

www.accidentaltourist.com leaves from Florence, but allows people to meet up with them if you have your own car.

Herre is the link for a chef who gives one-day classes in Lucca; the site also has links to wine and oilive oil tours.

Here is a list of classes in various locations in Tuscany and beyond; they are certainly not 270 Euro!
