Tuscany Chianti or Siena

Hi everybody!

I am visiting Tuscany this September I need a little help with the planning
How does this sound;
Florence 3 nights
Sienna or Chianti 2 nights (have you heard of pasta al pesto cooking lessons with Stephania?)
San quirico 3 nights (have you heard of a place called la Saracina?)

What are the best road trips out of this places?

I definitely liked Siena more than the Chianti area, with Siena you could do trips into the area around, plus several scenic, typical tuscan landscapes around Siena, than Chianti(atleast as far as I have seen). Then you could go to San Gimignano as well.
Do have a look at TR on Siena:

I like both places. I think it depends on whether you want time in a small city like Siena or in a village in the countryside.

One of my favorite hotels in Italy is Hotel Palazzo Squarcialupi in Castellina in Chianti. Beautiful grounds on the backside of the hotel, terrace bar overlooking the hillside, very friendly staff. Castellina is a small town that's very easy to get in and out of. The parking in Castellina would be much easier than Siena.

I also took a cooking class with Stephania 2 years ago and really enjoyed it.
