Tuscany Authentic Cooking Course
My wife and I are going to be in Tuscany for 10 days and would like to spend one day doing a authentic cooking course (ie dont need a 5 star chef teaching a class). Looking for any recommendations you have. These are the places we're staying so you have an idea of proximity. Thanks in advance.
1) Agriturismo Marciano - Siena 2) Castello La Leccia - Castellina in chianti 3) Mona Lisa - Florence |
I don't know if they offer individual days but a site I have been noticing is organictuscany.org They seem to have an excellent reputation and may be able to recommend someone. We visited a cooking school in the south called awaitingtable.com and that was quite an experience for a week.
Hope you have a wonderful trip Kathryn |
Thank you so much Kathryn! That looks amazing but they are only for week long trips. I'll keep looking. Let me know if anything else comes up.

You might look at Homefoods:
http://www.homefood.it/en/corsi/ I have not done a cooking class (and only one of the cooks offering classes seems to be in Tuscany) but I have experienced the dinners cooked by local people in their homes and featuring local cuisine. |
Cordon Bleu has courses in Florence. I don't know how good they are (the Florence one) or if they do 10 day courses though!
