Tuscany advice - splitting up days

Jump to last reply

Quick question about adjustments I making to my schedule.

We will be travelling from Positano on Wed. Oct. 3rd to Montepulciano (hoping to squeeze in a stop at Civita di Bagnoregio) for 3 nights .

After Montepulciano we are planning to spend 5 nights in Florence.

My question is would we better just spending 2 nights in Montepulciano and adding a 6th night in Florence? We'd have the one full day to enjoy Montepulciano and then we could still see some of the Tuscan hill towns on our way to Florence.
