Tuscan Hot Springs?

Frances Mayes', in either Under the Tuscan Sun or in Bella Tuscany, mentions soaking her feet in the warm water flowing in a stream near a small village in Tuscany--it may have been Bagno Vignoni. Can anyone help by providing more information about this? We don't want the typical spa experience, but would love to sit by a thermal stream for awhile.

Molto grazie

Betsy, I will be in Bagno Vignoni in about 3 weeks. Check out the 2 places to stay in this village by searching under the names of Hotel Posta Marcucci and Locanda Loggiato---the latter is a small B&B. Both are very nice and sit on the large pool that comprises the central part of town. This is a great location to explore the Val d'Orcia.

Oh Bob, you are a real sweetie! I've already e-mailed Locanda Loggiato (we like small B&Bs as opposed to hotels). Have a great time in Italy--I'm already waiting for your travelogue when you return.

Buon Viaggio
