Tuscan agriturismo similar to Cretaiole

I am looking for a similar agriturismo as Cretaiole, but they seem to be really popular, I imagine due partly to Rick Steves. None the less, they have a one week minimum in summer. Can you think of a hidden gem (not that you would want to give away your secret on a public forum, but...) that is similar in the Tuscan region? I would actually prefer if it was a smaller atmosphere but did like that they have a lot to do with the kids-- lots of farm animals to play with, pizza making lessons, etc. We are a family of four with two boys 8 and 10. Meeting other kids and a pool is a plus! Thanks

Take a look at http://www.greve-in-chianti.com where they have a comprehensive list of owner-direct agriturismi most without a one week minimum. Farm animals are rare in Tuscany - the farms are usually vineyards - but here's one that I could find: http://www.tuscanyholidayhome.net Seems they also offer Tuscan cookery lessons, including pizza (which is NOT a Tuscan dish)!

A post from March, and I'm not sure when you are (or were) gong, but we stayed here and LOVED LOVED LOVED it. Lots of farm animals, and a gorgeous pool...and these are the least of its wonders! The website's photos were mostly taken a few yrs ago and don't do it justice--the vines and trees are much bigger now!

CaliNurse - thanks for posting about that agriturismo. It looks wonderful. Not sure when we'll get back to Tuscany, but I'm putting it on my list!
