Turkish Language Site! Yippeee!

Prior to going to Croatia this year I found an audio site to learn some Croation and be able to hear what the language sounded like.

I am thrilled that I have found a resource in Turkish! Check it out at http://www.onlineturkish.com/vocab.asp

It is great to be able to hear how the words should sound! I hope you have speakers on your computer!

Cheers!

Tamara--congratulations on the Turkish language site. Would you mind sharing the address of the Croatian language site? I have tried to learn a bit from tapes, from visits there, and from the pronunciation tips in books, but a web site would be great. Thanks in advance.

Hi Wayne,

The site I used was http://www.hr/hrvatska/language/index.en.htm.

There is audio so it really helps in knowing how to say each word. I used this site for about 5 minutes each day and the Croatians we met were delighted!

I know I will be back to this country soon. It captured my heart.

Cheers!

Tamara

I just saw this thread while looking for something else. I'd missed it when it was first posted, so I'm topping it for others interested in learning a little Turkish who may have missed it.
