Turkish Airlines

Has anyone used this airline to fly to Europe from JFK? The fare is phenomenal for a trip going into Basel and out of Prague in October. Hard to resist.

Thank you.

Not from JFK, but from DC. It is a great airline. It would be my airline of choice any time it is available.

We use Turkish Airlines for our trips from Houston to Paris. The flight arrives late at night so we have to stay in a hotel at CDG before going to the apt the next morning. It seems like a nuisance but we have found that the slight delay in getting to Paris cancels jet lag wo we bounce into the city alert and excited. Even with the extra expense of the hotel, and sometimes one in Istanbul, the fare is so much less than any other airline. Of course none of this works if you have a time constraint. Yea retirement!

Yes, I flew them roundtrip from JFK to Istanbul last summer. I flew the next level up from Economy - not Business class and it was definitely worth it. Not very expensive and SO comfortable (wider seats w/huge distance between my seat and the one in front). Would definitely fly them again.

Like Sassafrass, only to and from DC -- and found it excellent!

A group of friends are going to Ireland in Sept, two from Indiana, two from here in Fl and one from Atlanta. The Atlanta ticket is 500.00 more than ours from MCO. Crazy but Turkish airlines pops up at 999.00 It has a layover in Istanbul though. We were wondering about Turkish airlines, sure cheaper than Delta but the layover in Istanbul turned her off.
