Turkey question
 

The wife and I will be travelling to Turkey in a few weeks and I had a few questions to set my mind at ease a little bit. While there, we will be renting a car and driving from Istanbul to Izmir and then along to Kas and then Cappadocia (flying back from Cappadocia to Istanbul to get home).

I wanted to know how easy it is to get gas while there? In France, it was a bit of a hassle my first time but I quickly got the hang of it.

In the smaller towns, how likely is it that we will be able to communicate in English? We are trying to learn some Turkish but we all know it's not the quickest language to pick up and I wanted to know how likely it is that they'll know some english outside the main cities.
