Turin itinerary
I (female student) will be in Turin for 2 weeks while working remotely a standard 9-5 job (technically a volunteer gig/not paid so no visa issues with that). I chose Turin since I wanted a bit less touristy city and really like museums & hiking in mountains- thought Turin made good sense for that.
I know there's. good Egyptian, car and film museums in Turin that I will see. Does anyone also have suggestions for following: - good place/ things to do on weekday evenings after work? (restaurants, bars, places to hang out, etc) - good day trips to take out of Turin (anywhere less than 2 hour train ride, I'm okay with longer days) |
Didn't you post this a couple of weeks ago?

Take the Sassi-Superga Rack Railway to the Basilica di Superga, where we got an unexpected private tour of the Royal tombs. (link below with photos)

Milan is about 40 minutes by train and Genova (Genoa) is just under 2 hours. You could look at Modane close to the French/Italian border if you want to do some hiking.
