Tulip fields in bloom
 

Thought you might want to know. Pretty early, the tulip fields between Leiden and Haarlem are now in full bloom. Cycled there this morning.

The ones in the Noordoost Polder are also in full bloom, my son tells me.

Oh! Going there next week, to Schokland. Hope they're still in shape then.

Here in Cornwall we're still waiting for ours here to come out, but it won't be long.

I loved the tulip fields, and Keukenhof the first time we went, and even more when we went again with my mother a couple of years ago. Having not been very keen on tulips before we went, i came home quite enthused and now i can't get enough of them.

Beware - you too may get the bug!

our tulips are now arriving, a little late this year i think.

i suspect that it'll be another 2 weeks or so before they are in full bloom.
