Tube maps reinvented.
Tube map variations - the concentric circles one does my head in but I think the one showing which stations really are underground is quite clever....

I like the one that shows the stations that are quicker to walk between . . . I have friends who took the tube from Piccadilly Circus to Leicester Sq and then had to walk back to TKTS - this map might have helped them.

Some of those are pretty cool!
janis, I'm pretty sure I took the tube between Covent Garden and Leicester Square once, when I was first getting used to the big city. Bless my heart. |

Mildly amused at the thought of travelling to Schlammrutsche and Ostschinken.

As a teenager, the man in the ticket office at Leicester Square refused to sell me a ticket to Charing Cross, pointing me in the right direction and telling me to walk.

No 9 is my favourite! Crispish Town, Liver Street, Angel Cake, Swiss Cheese, etc. Brilliant!
(Several years ago, dear CW posted a tube map with all the station names converted into anagrams, mostly quite rude. TFL got it deleted fairly quickly! But does anyone remember that?) |
I like the design of no 3, it really represents the London Underground.
