ttt - what does this mean?

As a reasonably new poster, living in a village in the south of France where we are not up on the most recent developments about very much except foie gras, I dont know what 'ttt' means. (Just recently discovered that posters saying DT meant downtown!) Is ttt good or bad?

Neither good or bad..... just means "to the top" and bumps a post to the top.

ttt is neither good nor bad - - it is one of the more popeular ways of adding a short, meaningless reply whose only purpose is to bring a post question bak up "to the top" (of the ueue of questions - - in the lefthand column).

also called "topping"...

Best wishes,

Rex

Thanks for the extremely prompt reply. I just found out what topping is, and now I find that there are acronymns for it!

merci beaucoup.
