ttt?

Sorry.. what does 'ttt' mean when posted as a reply?

MorganB Jun 18th, 2004 05:51 AM

to the top.... it moves a thread up to the top for others to see if it has gone without reply or if it is relevant to a question in another post.

Also if you send it to the top, when you highlight your name , you can find it again. This is one way to collect together posts that have information you want to save.

cigalechanta Jun 18th, 2004 07:01 PM

I'm torn between travel miles and a pastis(on hot days)
annethered, you can top your own thread when it sinks and you have had no responses, as happens certain times of the day. You can top if you want something to read yours or another. Often, I'll top someone's thread who is new here and no one answered so I reserect it if I see that.

cigalechanta Jun 18th, 2004 07:22 PM

sorry resurrect, my typos are bad but my fingers are worse.

kybourbon Jun 18th, 2004 07:30 PM

Blame it on the Cambridge weather Mimi, I froze when I was there. I haven't ever had pastis. You will have to introduce me to it next time I am in Cambridge.

cigalechanta Jun 18th, 2004 07:51 PM

Hi Kay, Pastis is the French generic term for the anise flavored drinks mixed with water. Not liked by most Americans, but my parents were born in Europe so I love the taste. You know the ones available here as Pernod and Ricard but there are those I like better, many herbs makes the difference.
