Thanks for the carry on info! This shouldn't be a problem for us, as we travel fairly lightly. I guess I was thinking about some of the restrictions on the low cost carriers. So that does it then...we will do carry-ons only.

The problem for us is that they say "including wheels and handles". We mostly use 21" rollers - try measuring one - the handle and wheels make them 23" or more.
My husband says they really won't enforce it that strictly, but there are posts on this site that claim otherwise... |
LAwoman, I think we also have 21" rollers not including wheels or handles. Interesting dilemma. I would hate to make it all the way to my gate only to find out that they wouldn't accept my carry-on because it's too large. I would normally assume that they wouldn't be too strict about this, but I have heard stories about BA being rather strict about things like this. Not sure what I should do....

The sizer box is before you get to the check-in desk.
I have several small suitcases - a 19 inch and two 21 inch bags, and others. None of them have ever been banned from a BA flight. I just measured my 21 inch travelPro and it totals 22 inches including the wheels. |
