True Paris apartment for 4
The question about a real apartment for 2 couples is defying my search ability; so here's a link to what they seem to be looking for--2 bedrooms, 2 baths, near the Luxembourg Gardens.

Shouldn't you post this "there" - - http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34476253 - - where the info was originally requested?
Or a note to refer them "here" would work, I guess. Best wishes, Rex |
I couldn't get the original post to come up, Rex, hence the duplicate. I added a note to the original when it just came up again. Search engines!!!

The best search engine (the one that does not rely on "re-indexing" which is only done periodically here) is to click on your name - - when it's a thread to which you have already previously posted.
That's how I found that thread in two seconds. |
Rex,
Thanks for the tip. |
Thanks for the suggestion - but I don't think this is exactly what we need - the murphy bed seems odd and we're not enamoured of the separate toilet/bath idea (although I know a lot of European proerties are set up this way for some reason.) But thanks for the suggestion!

Murphy beds are nice, as they allow you to have more space in your room during the day if you choose to put the bed up. As for separate bathrooms and toilets, that's the European norm in many places, especially those in older buildings and many private homes. It actually works very well; if someone wants a long soak in the tub, someone else doesn't have to wait to use the toilet.
