p.s. I loved the pic of the Lab. He must have been quite sleepy, my Sophie sits like that, with her hind legs straight out, when she is very tired.

ah...Venice! There's something about that city! I can't get enough of it!

Friends have asked me why I like it so much and I can't quite find the words..except that I do change it from "like" to "love"!

What gorgeous photos! I'm so envious -- I can't take a decent picture. There were so many I loved it's hard to choose a favourite, but I particularly liked the ones of the rooftops and the shop window with all the gold masks. I fell in love with Venice and this made me remember why.

Thank you all for the nice comments. Yes there is something just so magical about Venice. These were my favorites out over the more than 600 shots while I was there.

These are magnicifent pictures, Tom - your gallery returned me to that magic athmosphere in Venice (I visited there last year). Thanks for sharing these, it's always interesting how other people see the same things I see and photograph.
