can you straighten out a shirt with the trouser press commonly found in hotel rooms? anyone try this before? thx

No, but I have used the flat iron for my hair (the sort that looks like salad tongs) to press small things like shirt collars and cuffs.

I've never tried it - most hotels either have an iron in the room or can provide one.
