Trouble with Trenitalia website

I've been trying to purchase tickets for two days now and it just won't work. Is there a 1-800 number I can call? I can't find one on the site.

Hi D,

What is your problem, exactly?

Maybe it's your computer. I had to try a 'faster' computer to do a Trenitalia purchase just last week.

When trying to buy tickets, I can get as far as putting in my user name and password and then nothing happens. I try again, and again and again...then I get a prompt reading that I've used all of my reservation room and that I need to wait 15 minutes before trying again.

So weird.

Are you using the Italian version?
The English version has all kinds of problems.

I've tried both the Italian and English versions. Man, this website is very difficult to manuever in.

I just booked tickets on the site within the last hour without a problem, although can see where it may be confusing. Just a thought, maybe clear your cookies and try again?

Are you trying to buy for a date more than 60 days in advance? Can't do that.

Hmmm,
Yes, seems to me I remember the site making sure my 'cookies' were enabled.

Forget it! There is little reason to buy your tickets in advance. Just wait until you get there.

You are not going to save on promotinal fares, the primary reason for advance purchase.

There are multiple trains to your destination on any day. You probably won't have any trouble getting reservations on any specific train, particularly the day before. You certainly will not have trouble getting reservations to you destination on some train.

I rather liked the fact that I could buy the tickets in advance, on-line and just print out a voucher that I just take on the train with me. Anything I can do in advance is great for me.
