Trouble Using voyages-sncf website

Having discovered (evidently) that it doesn't work to use a Mac with Safari and having solved that problem, the site now says that we must have a "cofinoga secret code" to get our tickets in France at either the gare or the boutique. (We cannot print the tix here b/c my young granddaughter's is not a Prem)

What is that secret code, and how do we know what it is?

This is getting so frustrating!

Thank you, thank you!

I've never heard of such a thing. It seems if you have an ID, that should be good enough (and was before, plus I just took a printed confirmation from SNCF, but they can look it up).

But it sounds like something they should give you in an email after your purchase, doesn't it. I mean, did you already buy the tickets? Did you check on the website under your account, there is often info in there.

Cofinoga is some credit card issuer or something like that in France. It's the company that tracks SMILES or something. Did you try to get some special fare?

Bonjour, grandmere! I just googled Cofinoga SNCF and came up with this.

http://tinyurl.com/ctuwjq

It's a help page on the SNCF site. It appears that the carte Cofinoga is an alternative to other type credit cards. (maybe a prepaid card?)

Maybe your niece accidentally ticked the wrong button when choosing a credit card?

Sorry for your troubles.

Sorry, I should have said "maybe your daughter accidentally..."

Thanks, all; crisis averted; I think this has been successfully taken care of! Appreciate your help.

Just for the record, I have successfully used Safari on a Mac to book tix that I picked up at a train station in Paris without a hint of bother.
