Trouble finding Split accomodations. Do you know Hotel Villa Diana?

Hi: I am having trouble finding hotels with availability in Split for two nights in May. I have tried the Peristil, Adriana, Park, Slavija.
In my search on the web, I found the Hotel Villa Diana. Has anyone heard of this? Do you have some recommendations of some places I might try? Thanks

The hotel Presidente is decent and a close walk to the harbor. New rooms in the back nicer than the older ones but more pricey. Old rooms more like a 3 star hotel and the new ones more in line with four star status. I tend to find hotels in eastern europe to be a star less in quality than they deserve. New Meridian hotel being opened across the harbor but I do not know when.

An alternative would be to stay in Trogir, which is a much nicer option in my opinion. It is only 1/2 hour from Split.

Apartment Bakica is very nice with a large patio.
