Tripcho Travel Guided Tours

Has anyone used the site Tripcho.com or have you seen any comments about the experience? We are considering booking a tour to Ireland and Britain through the site. They seem to have a dissent selection of European escorted tours, but would like feedback from any actual users. Any comments appreciated.

I wouldn't profess to know every tour that covers Ireland. I don't know this one.. But.. I have seen that tour before. not many stop at Rathbaun Farm.. Think it might be a CIE tour? Just looked , yep its a CIE Tour. My guess and I don't know would be that Tripco are just agents selling other folks tours.

Only commenting on the "Introduction to Ireland" tour they offer and its bordering on too much in too little time.. The price isn't too bad but I would want to know the accommodation and a little more than the web site seems to give away.

I've never heard of Tripcho -- but Tony is likely right -- they are merely resellers.

My concern is that most mass market tours that lump Ireland and the UK into one itinerary, while 'cheap', are just 'drive throughs' with hours of sitting on the coach every day watching both countries through the windows.

Yes. I booked on Tripcho.com and we went to Italy and France last summer. They are a travel agent and were easy to work with and offered various options for our destination. They were able to change our flights after we booked.

We got good pricing for a good quality European guided tour. Customer service was helpful and they arranged details for our trip and everything went w/o issues. It was great going on this Italy and France tour and traveling was good – saw many old places. Our agent gave us good advice and was super knowledgeable.

I would be very careful considering the opinions of tours in other countries.. Especially when buying from someone who is just passing you on to an end provider,, A totally different end provider?

If the only recommendation from someone who has actually taken one of their tours is that they "saw many old places," I'd steer clear. But I don't do tours and stay away from third-party sellers, so I'm biased.

Amanda - we did have a great experience booking with Tripcho after a friend recommended the tours.

Our agent Meryl explained everything since it was our first trip to Europe back in 2015. She made sure we had everything ready before boarding the plane. We took the Grant european tour and Meryl knew a lot of detail about the destination and pointed some specifics about London and Switzerland that turned to be extremely valuable. Amassing sights.
It was a long tour, but we are happy we did it covering so much.
