Hey, Colin, I enjoyed looking around your site...some great stuff there. My compliments to you and Julie. Thanks for posting the link. I'm going to read through some of your adventures for my lunchtime reading today.

I can tell you that some of your Venice pix look just like ours!

Thanks for posting your site. I have only just begun to view it. I really like the way you have reported and included your pictures along side. Looking forward to when I have more time and can view more. I really liked Naples - see that is your next plan. Happy travels!

Well done, Colin. I missed this back in May.

I'll be adding the Musée Guimet to our list for our next trip to Paris. I was intrigued (and saddened) to read about the collection of statue heads from Cambodia. They reminded me of that magnificent collection of the Heads of the Kings of Judah in the Musée national du Moyen Âge at Cluny. Those heads were apparently separated from their statues by passionate revolutionaries who thought the figures on Notre-Dame were the kings of France.

Thanks for the heads-up (pardon the pun) on the Musée national du Moyen Âge at Cluny.

Cheers mimipam!

Yes, I'm really looking forward to my trip to Naples.

I'm going on a pizza pilgrimage!

For breakfast, lunch and evening meal I shall be eating nothing but the city's most famous export.

Any restaurant recommendations ?

Colin Sep 17th, 2007 01:28 AM

Well, returned from my Pizza Pilgrimage and found Naples to be exeptionally fascinating.

Sadly, four out of my top five pizzerias were shut because it was mid-August!

Nevemind !
