Ann, I really enjoyed your Sicily gallery. We missed Erice and I am sorry now. I will comment on one label I think is wrong. Your 160 is at Monreale---the famoust altar mosaics there. I also liked your Castelmola shots. I have been there twice and do not have much to show for it.

Ann/Isabel....oh my goodness! Your photos are so wonderful. I want to jump on the next plane and go to Lakes Como and Maggiore. My main reason for going to Stresa is to see the Boromean Islands, and nowI will be prepared for a less of a "wow" experience there than in Bellagio. It still looks beautiful to me. Thanks so much for posting the link to your fabulous album.

Bob - Actually, no that photo, (#160) was really in Palermo. I know that for a fact because we ended up not going to Monreale at all. I really wanted to but we ran out of time. The fact that you think the photo from the Palazzo di normnni is Monreale must mean they are pretty similiar. I know the one in Cefalu is suppossed to be similiar also, we did get to that one. Now I don't feel so bad that we missed Monreale.

marthag - I think you will like Stressa, it is beautiful, just for me at least, it wasn't quite as nice as Lake Como. Take some photos of the islands while you are there so I can see what I missed.

jmw44 - Well I THINK I posed the Swiss portion. I did write it, since I have it saved on my computer. I'm pretty sure I did post it but I can't find it either. That was summer of 05 so it will be pretty far back. I think just clicking on my name it would take forever to go back a whole year. I tried searching on Switzerland, but that's a pretty popular topic so it will be pretty far back there as well. But thanks for asking.

I have seen your pbase Sicily gallery but somehow never the report itself. This is great! I will be heading to Sicily next month for just a short, seven-night visit. The information here is very helpful. Unfortunately we won't have time for the interior.
