Thanks much for your splendid trip report. It was most informative and brought to mind many memorable images of Italy.

Your report also jogged my memory banks about some of my favorite dining and lodging experiences, such as the fine food and service on offer at Florence's Accadi restaurant, and the first-rate accommodation, Il Vilino, also in Firenze. The Vilino is truly an outstanding accommodation. Lastly, like you, I also had positive feelings about Siena's Caterina, a nicely located and most hospitable accommodation. Ahh...travel in Italy.
