Michael,
Thanks for sending along your Portugal itinerary-what extensive notes, or amazing memory you have! We will take several of your suggestions, but I think we'd like to find 4-5 small towns or bases where we can stay 2-3 nights and take side trips. You seemed to like Tomar-any other suggestions?

Evora is a good base as it is close to other interesting historical and pre-historical sites. Coimbra might be another good choice.
