Trip Report: Paris May 6 - 23, 2015
Two 65+ ladies visiting Paris - not for the first time. We didn't go up the Eiffel Tower, or visit the Louvre, or explore the Catacombs, or do anything else first-time visitors might do. We took it slow and easy, and just had a great time soaking up Paris.

Thank you for letting me return to Paris with you. I, too, am a 65+ lady who loves Paris. Your report is so descriptive and I can "see" all the places you visited. I'm sorry you missed the Parc Floral at Vincennes - you were so close. Next time.

Enjoyed reading your trip report - interesting way to do it.
I was inParis the same time as you . The worst meal We had there was At Gallerie Lafayette - as you found. On a previous trip we used to shop at the marche on Richard Lenoir - it's open other days too. It's fun cooking with local ingredients isn't it. We did a trip on Canal St Martin and a tour of the Opera Garnier . Boat trip interesting but not fab - relaxing and saw some different areas . Absolutely recommend the Opera Garnier tour. Thanks for sharing |
PS 4 public holidays in May in France - I thought we in Australia had lots of holidays!

Wonderful trip report - an enjoyable read! I am wondering how you became so familiar with the bus routes and very impressed with how easy you make the logistics of it all sound.

Love it! And great pictures!

Travelchat: I bought a little book called "Paris Bus - 109 Lignes" at one of the news kiosks for about 7 euros when I was there in 2013. It is invaluable. Has a 2-page spread for each bus line on a street map, so you can see all the stops and transfer points. I found it much easier than using an app.
