Trip Report on Munich
 

Hi there,

We spent three weeks in October/November exploring Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam and Berlin. Other trip reports via Fodors were really instrumental in helping us plan our trip.

I thought I would share some of our favourites as a thank you to the Fodors community.
I'm starting with Munich but will include the other cities as I finish the write ups.

Thank you for posting this. We will be in Munich for 3 days in September. I booked this as part of a larger trip not knowing that the last day coincides with the start of Oktoberfest. A fact I'm not thrilled about!
Been wondering what we should concentrate on while there and I will be studying your post really really hard. So, thanks again.

Augustiner Großgaststätten is our favorite also. I have never had that one dessert before. I am always so full. Great pictures and report.

TOOMUCH - Where is the place where you took the picture that comes after the picture of the two you?

That is the parks of the Nymphenburg Palace. Make sure when you visit the palace to spend some time walking around in the grounds at the back. So beautiful and really peaceful.
