Yeah - no visit is complete untilI get my Prawn Cocktail crisps fix :)

I'm sure this is a great report but I'm just having too hard a time reading it. Guess I'll copy it into Word and edit it for myself. (mrkindallas - if you are adding any more instalments it would REALLY help if you would "double return" your paragraphs)

Thanks for all of the detail in your report - the notes in your travel diary must be quite impressive. I can't wait to hear about your trip on the Eurostar.

I am enjoying your report a great deal. Your DS's ability to nap seemingly everywhere reminds my of my best friend of more than 30 years. I don't know if she can still do this, but I bet when we finally get to travel to Paris together I will find out.

My daughter and I have a January trip to Paris planned with a day trip to London, so I especially enjoyed your first installment.

Looking forward to the rest. Cheers!

Those were really good - and the lamb and mint crisps - mmmm!! We liked the salt and vinegar crisps, too. The ones we get in the states have way too much vinegar, but the English ones were just right.

so true about the salt vinegar ones. They are usually such a disappointment at home -- the vinegar is more "vinegary" and there is too much of it . . . .

Thanks!!
I love mushy peas...get them in Ireland too (some places). I have brought home packets of them before...yum!!

Interesting trip report. I was wondering about your sister falling asleep so much until you mentioned she was 18! Just curious, as to your age (it helps put what you did/didn't find interesting in perspective, that's all). Thanks again for posting.

I enjoyed ALL the detail of London. I have a 7 day trip planned in September, so the details were good for me. Thanks again.

mrkindallas, thanks for the report! You and your sister really hit the highlights. Our first visit to London was 6 days and we had rain for 4.5 of them. Still loved it, though!

My favorite crisps are the sea salt and black pepper. SO good.

We made almost the same trip. We left Houston on the 27th, so our first day in London was on Monday, the 28th. It was so so cold, rainy and miserable. We did the Paris portion of our trip the next day and returned to London on June 1st through the 6th and the weather was lovely! Am anxious to hear how you liked the fashion show. We never made it, as we were afraid we were cutting it too close to make it to the train back to London.

Sounds like you hit all the spots we did in London also. We loved Paris and all wished we had another day or two! Maybe next time.

Thanks for the trip report!
