What happened to topics about hotels, restaurants & high prices?

There were three threads: one about hotels lacking in modern amenities, one about high prices in Milan and one about restaurants that all seem to be missing. Comments didn't seem inappropriate. Some were interesting. Could the poster have requested that they be removed?

The editors have probably realized it was a banned poster posting under a new name?? That's my best guess. All weekend there has been lots of stuff coming up under first time posters all over the boards.

As a good alternative, have a look at the current threads with the following themes :
Is Madrid a safe place? Are Turks friendly and which European city is the most americanized....

All 3 threads from the same first time poster ......

How would the editors know it was a banned poster using a new name AND a new e-mail address?

Durkey1 - being a moderator on another forum all I can say we have our ways of finding out who is who. I am sure the editors (moderators) on this one use the same methods.

IP address?
There's also Should I get a Visa? which appears to be a young English or Australian bloke pretending to be a spoilt American trustafarian princess. Quite funny Many trolls hibernate and emerge during the schools and colleges holiday time ;-)

Always surprises me how these troll postings get us going, including me! They sure know how to push our buttons!

Right. There were also the ones about cokes in Rome being warm and "friends" who found the cost of food too high, both by the same poster.
