Trip Report: Barcelona-Carcassone-Canal du Midi Barge Trip - Paris

I'm usually a denizen of the Caribbean forum, but have recently visited Europe. So here are links to my blog which highlight our trip, which started in Barcelona, ended in Paris, and had the Canal du Midi in the middle.

I am looking more closely at your pictures. You barely fit through the bridges. Sorry about the bike thief but glad they didn't charge you.

Great trip report! This brought back memories of a family trip booked through Le Boat.

Looks like a great trip, I've done similar myself. I doubt the wine lacked sulphites (how else would they clean the barrels?) but maybe lower levels than in other areas.

bilboburgler, you are probably right about the sulfites (on reflection and looking again at the bottles); we were just trying to figure out how we could drink so much without getting hungover!
