Yes the elderly lady was there in September, but no homemade rolls.

I certainly wouldn't be getting up that early at her age to be baking rolls!!

Schneken rolls sound good! What are they made with? She would not have to get up too early, I will be on vacation I'm in no hurry especially in the morning.

I just remember that they were very tasty and had cinnamon in them. They are rolled up and look like a snail, which is "Schnecken" in German.

We have been to Hallstatt about 4 times. These photos were taken on our last trip in 2006:
