Trip Plan Madrid-Sevilla-Barcelona

Hi, i am planning a 2-week trip to Spain next July. I plan to fly into Madrid then go to Sevilla then to Barcelona.I have never even been overseas before, so I'm very confused. My Questions Are
1.How should I get to each of the desired points (eg. Seville to Barcelona),by train, car or what?
2.How much time should I spend in each city?
I really will appreciate any help on this matter!

How big of a concern is your budget? If you go to the Iberia Airlines website, you'll see that most domestic fares are very low; so, unless $$ is quite tight, you can fly between your selected cities [which is nice if your time is limited].

Try doing a train(AVE[bullet train])between Madrid and Sevilla. In September, I took the train between Barcelona and Madrid and found the trip comfortable and relaxing after days of hectic touring. It certainly does take longer than a plane, but is great if you have the time.

I'm going to Spain in September, new country for me, but if it's anything like the rest of Europe, I say go for the trains! So easy! We're actually renting a car and flying from Seville to Madrid (well, that's the plan, anyway) right now. The flights from Seville to Madrid during the week are so cheap!!

Thanks for the help. I am planning to fly out of Madrid probably too.I want to be time-conservative and fairly budget conservative too, I just do not know if flights or the trains are cheaper.

Iberia airlines and Sanair have fares one way $33.00 to and from Madrid in but you have to go to there web site not expedia or travelocity to get there best rate
