trip from Charles de Gaulle airport to Anvers Metro (line 2)
Hello
What is the cost of the ticket from the airport to Gaude de Nord station and then to Anvers station? I plan to be in Paris for 5 days. Do they have a 5 day pass for unlimited travels on the train/bus? Do they have the Oyster card like in London? thank you

That is a rather awkward journey. By metro, it would require you to walk 100 yards or so to the elevated Line 2 at La Chapelle. You might find it easier to go out of the Gare du Nord to the right to pick up bus 30 at the Magenta-Maubeuge stop, which will also take you to the Anvers metro station.
There are passes of various sorts, but I don't find them particularly convenient. You might just as well get a carnet of tickets (which are valid on metro or bus). Total cost of RER to Gare du Nord + metro or bus ticket is about €10.

Unfortunately there is nothing in Paris like an Oyster Card, but then the métro/RER network is much more comprehensive than London´s tube.
If you want to travel from CDG to Anvers, there are RER departures from either Terminal 2 or Terminal 1 (just follow the signs). The cost is 8.70€. Reaching Anvers will be a bit awkward. If you take the bus, you will need to purchase another ticket (1.80€ if purchased from the driver I believe). Or, you could connect to M4, direction Porte de Clignancourt and exit at Barbès Rochechouart using the same ticket you purchased at CDG. You would need to walk to your hotel from Barbès Rochechouart.
There are various passes available but you would need to tell us what day of the week you arrive and where it is you want to travel. Many people find that for simply travelling around Paris, a book of 10 tickets t+ work well, cost 12€.

If you really use the public transportation a lot (and you might out there), Paris sells daily unlimited passes, but not for five days. But buying one of those every day would save money over individual tickets if you use it a lot. I often buy them when I'm in Paris. They are called "Mobilis" and you can buy them for different zones, but just get the zones 1-2 one for central Paris. It costs 6.1 euro for a day of unlimited travel.

So if you think you'll make more than 6 trips a day, it would be better than the carnet. It's convenient to have one ticket for the day, also. You might buy one on the days you plan to travel around town a lot and use a carnet for other days.
