Trenitalia Registration HELP!

I haven't been able to find an answer to this question on the MB.

I am trying to help friends register on the Trenitalia website so that they can buy tickets online. After filling in all the boxes we get the message that the registration was successful and we will receive a Password by email.

It's been several days and we haven't received this password. It's NOT in the spam folder either.

Could it be a problem with the "cookie settings"? I don't really understand this cookie stuff. When you register at the Trenitalia website they give you some information about cookie settings which I don't understand at all.

I have written to the Trenitalia helpdesk. But in the meantime, can anyone help with this problem?

Thanks.

I had the same trouble. What I ended up doing is registering with a different ID and email address. The password was sent to me almost immediately... What the difference was ... I don't know.

I also had the same trouble. Just used a different email address and it worked. Good luck.

Join the club. Same thing happened to me. I finally did get through using another e-mail, but after I booked, I didn't get the e-mail confirmation that I was supposed to use to pick up the ticket.

I'm hoping tha printed confirmation off the Web site will work when I pick up the ticket.

Anyway, as far as I'm concerned, Trenitalia's is the Yugo of Web sites.

Thanks for the help and suggestions. I feel somewhat better knowing that it's not just me.

Hi Sun,

As noted, reregister with a different email address.

I ended up with 3 registrations.

The first two didn't go through. The 3rd did, then the first two came through.

That's Italian! :)

Thanks, Ira....

When I was planning my own trip last year, that's exactly what I ended up doing....and I also ended up with several different registrations.
