Trenitalia Number

Their website lists 892021. Is there a number missing? I've dialed 011-39-06-892021 but it doesn't connect and I can't find another number on the site. Anyone have another number?

This is not a normal phone number. In Italy, you simply dial 892021. From abroad, you should precede it with your international access code and 39 ("06" was the old prefix for Roma and is not part of this number). If this doesn't work, then this number cannot be dialled from abroad.

Hi rohani,

I have checked all of my Italian contact phone numbers.

They are 011 39 a xx xx xx x

The Trenitalia number seems to be something like one of the US 900 numbers. There is a charge for dialing it.

It seems that it might be Italy only.

I was reading the posts yesterday and saw a couple responses that folks booked the promotion of either the 29/39 Euro rate for train travel. It the posts it stated that their travel time was to be in May and they got the rate when the promotion I believe is for travel up to Apr 30. I was just looking to get a verbal confirmation either way.

That was my understanding too Rohani, based on that I have not booked tickets online. That's what the website says. If anyone knows differently, I would appreciate knowing as well.
