Fran - it will depend on the shirt. The ones that have the least cotton content will dry over night and look okay to wear without ironing. It is best to try to find shirts with a texture as they will show wrinkles less. I have a pair of their travel pants made of one of those new materials. I wore them this summer in Italy. I did wash them in the sink and let them hang dry over night -- they looked great. My husband had a couple of their shirts - one a casual print, one a dressier white shirt. Both dried over night and looked great the next day. Don't expect a starched look from a lot of these types of clothing -- but they will look neat and stylish. Hope this helps.

We just came from a boat show where my husband purchased two casual shirts that are waterproof.(a Teflon fabric protector by Dupont) Stains are not absorbed but actually roll off the fabric. Yet they are washable and quick dry and wrinkle free. They sell for $56.00. www.HookandTackle.com
