Travelogue book-Spain?

I read Peter Mayle's books before and during trip to France and Frances Mayes books when going to Italy..does anyone know of any similar books about life in Spain? Thanks.

I've gotten two or three from my local library. The only title I remember is "Driving Over Lemons" by Chris Stewart. Check the travel essay section of your library or bookstore.

It's dated, but there's also "Iberia" by James Michener.

canuck,
The closest to the Frances Mayes books would be the 2 already mentioned, Driving Over Lemons and the Derek Lambert book, Spanish Lessons. Both are quite amusing. Iberia is also a "must read", but as Heidi says, quite dated.
Also very worthy is the Travelers' Tales: Spain, an excellent and very enjoyable collection. I highly recommend it.
